Henry Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is proud of our community and the work it does for our residents. Supporting local organizations and spreading their message is important to our Company.
One of the organizations we support is The Friends of the Homeless of Tuscarawas County.
Their mission is to assist individuals to find stability, sobriety, employment, and permanent housing. They operate a 36-bed shelter and guests receive the support of a professional staff with a wide range of services including counseling, occupational therapy, bible study, and more. Additionally, they provide meals, hygiene products, coats, blankets, and other items to those in need.
More than 4,000 men, women and children have safely slept and received nourishment as guests of the shelter, accounting for approximately 179,000 bed-nights with about 85% of shelter guests from Tuscarawas County.
They are currently working on plans to construct a new shelter to better meet the needs of their guests.
